⁵ Lord, they crush your people
    and ·make your children suffer [^Lafflict your inheritance].
⁶ They kill widows and ·foreigners [sojourners; wanderers]
    and murder orphans [Ex. 22:21–24].
⁷ They say, “The Lord doesn’t see;
    the God of Jacob [^Canother name for Israel] doesn’t ·notice [understand].”
